150$

The pain is I got taken by a thief AND I could have used that money for my truck...
and the thief is laughing all the way to the bank, no one can (or is willing) to catch em and somebody else is going to be next...

Re: Public Service announcement

The other post was removed due to the names and phone numbers in it by staff. I am sorry you got taken, but if you google the info you posted there are a few ticket type for sale posts in different states. It appears to of all been a scam. Did you get any other contact info from this person when you purchased the tickets? physical addy etc?

Re: Public Service announcement

I feel sorry for you, honestly I do.

I'm sorry you along with many others are paying to hear or see them. Barry Manilow would be a better choice IMO LOL

alright, fine. I'll get back to the subject.
things like this scam reinforce my way of purchasing things. in person at a store front or from a reputable seller.

Re: Public Service announcement

It sucks that you got scammed, but look at the bright side it was only $150.Not saying that its a small amount(Im sure it would hurt alot of us to lose that amount including myself)but it could have been worse $1500 or $15000.Look at it as a learning experiance you know better next time.

Re: Public Service announcement

Well this has been an interesting experience.
I've posted this on many boards and have gotten a huge mixed response.
Some board members were grabbing pitch forks and were ready to battle.
Some board members set up beer times when I'm in their town next time.
Some board members said it was my fault and go F your self.

The concert was killer.
I'm not a U2 fan or even a Bono fan....BUT I was five rows from the stage and they put on one awsome stage show...and now I have a bunch of new friends from Brazil.

yes I only lost 150$ but my niece and nephew (who the tickets were for, nephew's graduation present) missed one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
90,000 fans (so they claim) at Invesco Field is a huge party.

Did you know U2 has their own diesel generators mounted to 18 wheelers to power the concerts?
Did you know they also bring their own tanker trucks to fuel the generators?
Did you know they also bring their own air conditioning trucks to cool the generators?
I guess when the show is this big you have to provide all of your own support.
