Dana 60?

Anyone know of a good source for the torque specs for A Dana 60. I've been googling and can't come up with any. Trying to replace outer hub seals and bearings for a replacement with 3.54 and posi. Had to drive to 6 different parts places before finding the 23/8 socket for the axle nut. Looking for axle flange bolt torque and spindle nut torque mainly. Thanks. 71 Dana 60.

Pavementsucks.com and type in Dana 60 torque specs. I didn't see exactly what you were describing so you can look.

Re: Dana 60?

Tighten the first lock nut to 65 ft/lbs to seat the bearings. Loosen and tighten to 35ft/lbs. Back off 1/4-turn then tighten outer lock nut to 50 ft/lbs then bend the lock tabs. Beleve it or not but the Danas need .001"-.010" play when set up correctly. That's how I set mine up right before I left on vacation an I am sitting in so. Texas right now typing this reply. Hauling my big 'ol Lance camper all around God's country and no problems whatsoever.
I took those specs directly from the '72 repair manual.
