2015 K2500 Error code: P2097, How do I fix it?

My check engine light came on and the code reader says "Post Catylist Fuel Trim System too rich Bank 1." The truck in question has the 6.0 engine and 6l90 transmission. Thanks for any help.

Chances are you have a bad O2 sensor on bank 1. Drivers side before the cat. Sometimes leaky exhaust cause the goofy readings also that throw the code. If it is not rusty looking before the cat and you can't see/feel a leak, then probably change the o2 sensor

Thanks, I'll investigate the matter. Is there any way to function check an O2 sensor? I recently damaged and repaired my exaust. I'm thinking the leaks that occurred while it was still broken may have triggered this, but it could be unrelated, so I want to check the O2 sensor out to be safe.
