72 long bed to short bed...

Well it started out as a nice long bed and now is going to be a lowered short bed. Got the frame shortend and new bed sides and floor. Sold all the parts so got some of my money back. The paint on the truck was done cheap.. little rust was coming through so had to repaint most of the truck because I wanted it right. Interior will be next. I am doing a black and orange seat cover and billet steering wheel with black door panels.

Got the truck for 8k with tilt steering and it had 87k miles on stock 350 and started like it had fuel injection! Even cold it would fire right up! I put a 700R4 in it and it had a dana 44 with 3:73s stock.

dewitts aluminum radiator! fit perfect!

Planning on some 20s and 22s in the rear.

Simply put, absolutely gorgeous! Orange and white with stock trim, extremely good taste. I can't wait to do my '69!
