Test drive

I replaced brakes, ball joints, tie rods, idler, pitman, cross shafts, rear bushings in trailing arms, track bar, and shocks. Went from 28” tires to 31” tires and replaced coil springs. 1” drop in front, 2” drop in rear. Also added front and rear sway bars. Just got it aligned tonight.
Wanted to take her for a test drive, so after dinner I loaded the back with cardboard boxes to take to recycle. Throughout this project I had accumulated a truckload of empty boxes from LMC, rock auto, POL, Summit racing, and a few others.
It doesn’t even seem like the same truck. It feels real modern. I drove it through several roundabouts and around corners. The truck stays nice and level, no body roll. Looking forward to driving it tomorrow.
The truck has 3.08 gears and a stock converter. I wondered if the taller tires would make it feel doggy from a stop. It still spins the tires with ease and accelerates nicely.
