C20 axle flip kit?

So I've been searching all over the Internet for a flip kit for my c20, none say they are for a 70 c20 they say c10 or 73-87 c20 is there a kit for my truck? Anyone with a c20 found a kit that works? I DO NOT trust my welding abilities on my suspension.

And for the person that will tell me to search in the treads I have and everyone says djm but that kit does not say it will work for a c20.

Re: C20 axle flip kit?

Awesome thanks man. Have you used either of these? I'm sure I have to get shorter shocks, do I have to relocate them? Do I have to remove my bed?

Re: C20 axle flip kit?

You'll have to call them as I haven't started my '72 C20 Custom Camper build. I do have a folder of most of the parts I'll need. If you're doing drop spindles they are available at Performance On Line (2 1/2 in. drop) and Airbagit.com (3 in. drop). Performance On Line also has C20 front drop springs. Good luck with your build. I'd like to get my truck to sit like the white one, well, at least reasonably close.

Re: C20 axle flip kit?

I am looking to drop my C20 as well. I have been looking at kits and I am looking at these two for front and rear.

Front: http://www.x2industries.com/chevrole...0#.VgrwtvlVikp

Rear: http://www.x2industries.com/chevrole...l#.Vgrr3_lViko

Does anyone know about shocks...? I need to replace all four corners and want to do so while working on the suspension. Which ones should I get? It should be noted that I don't want to spend a fortune, because I am saving my pennies to get Porterbuilt Stage II Front and rear in the near future.

Re: C20 axle flip kit?

Check what axle you have before you buy any of those kits. If you have a 14 bolt those kits will not work.
