Yeah, finally! Not much has been going on, but finally I have some progress to report (not much, really...)

I went to the Radio Station on Monday and signed an agreement and release, etc, and gave them my information for tax purposes. So, the next step was to get the truck down to the shop that will be doing the work and that happened this morning.

I have a meeting with the shop tomorrow where we will go over the details, sign some more paperwork, etc. I am fully aware that ultimately they can fix up the truck any way that they want, but they want to get my ideas in order to make sure that I am happy too. Just in my discussion that I had with them today, I was very impressed and excited to hear that they are really looking forward to the project... I should have more to share tomorrow.

They said that was their goal, Nathan. They will be working on the truck after shop hours and everyone is donating their time. All of the employees of the company from laborer to owners will each get to have an idea of their own incorporated into the build. It sounds like an aggressive schedule, but they are targeting completion is less than 2 months. That is hard to imagine...

That is a lot more realistic, but we will see how it goes. They want to take photoshoots and take it to some specific car shows and some of them are this year. Amazing! My apprehension is pretty much over now and I am excited about the project!

Yeah, it might turn out pretty cool, but unfortunately I won't get progress pictures as they go. They did say that they would share them afterwards and would occasionally send a "teaser".

Their shop closes at 8PM and they are going to work on the 'Burb after hours, but at the undisclosed location... I though this would be perfect for my schedule and I offered to help or even just stop by. They laughed and said that after today, the next time that I will see the truck, it will be done...

Hey 72 Chevy Suburban....

First congrats on the win!!!...I know that you are very excited about seeing the progress of the burb....

Well I went on a covert attack the other evening to see if I can get some pics of your burb in the 'undisclosed' location....I followed the guys from the shop to the 'undisclosed location'.....and here are a couple of pics I got from the progress after they left....I think they were there till 4am...or at least that's what time I woke up......

Okay....Looks like they sandblasted the thing and here's is what's left....I truly think they are going to blow that $10k budget out of the water...but hey by the looks of the engine at least you are a 'green' burb running on propane!!!

Enjoy!!! and congrats again man...I look forward to seeing the finished product......
