Question 1970 blazer hood

I need to find a hood for my 1970 $1000.00 baby. I just bought her and I could cry I am so happy. Can I use a hood from any 1968-72 truck or blazer?

Let me know, thanks.

70blazer, please fill out your profile. The board members are more than willing to help but it makes it a lot easier if we know where you are.

I am picking up a 70 hood tomarrow and will be in SLC at the end of the month for a few days. I am not absolutley sure of the exact condition of it until I see it. Send me a PM and we might be able to work something out. I also have a real good resource that lives in around 4500 south and Readwood. He dosn't do the computer thing though. I may be able to hook you up with him for the feature? He has alot of things laying around.

Talking Pictures of my new baby

Here are some pictures of my new sweetheart. I picked her up for an amazing $1000. Give me some feedback on what colors I should go with for the top and body. I may stick with the factory orange and go with a white top. Help me out.

Wow, you got that for $1000! That looks like a great deal. I have always liked the hugger orange Blazers. I have seen a Orange Blazer with a smoothed top painted to match. Here is a pictrure of a yellow one that I colored to Orange so you could see what it might look like. (this truck was for sale on e-bay a while back- it's not mine)

Unhappy Hood problem

The hood has had something dropped on it dead center at one point. I pushed it back up, but everytime you shut the hood it dents right back in. The metal has been stretched to far downward to have it stay up.
