lowering kit

i am going to be putting a 2/3 lowering kit on my 71 and am wondering what size of shocks i should use? or will the stock ones still work?

Stock should be fine. How are you lowering the front? Springs or spindles?

Any shocks that I have seen for lowering go in 2" increments.
If you are lowering the front of your truck with lowering coils then you should buy 2" front lowering shocks. This will assure you that they will not bottom out on a moderately rough road. For the rear I would go with a 4" lowering shock. WES
