Re: Idler arm frame bracket

These are for 68 Chevy C10 correct? The one on my 68 frame is bent towards the driver side, of which I’m guessing is no bueno; and I tried paring one from my 72 frame but don’t believe it’s matching up.

I have a few but not sure what year most of them are other than 67-72. I don't know of any difference between them other than the 67 power assist steering might be. What makes you think the 72 is different than your 68 is? Are they both C10?

I will probably have to remove one but I am sure I have some. I am sorry but the current price is $20 each plus shipping. Shipping to the US will be $8.20 flat rate box or possibly less.

Re: Idler arm frame bracket

I am actually working on a 66 C10 but the spindles are 73-87 because of the suspension kit I bought from QA1 so I really need it for a 73-87 if there is a difference in the size of tie rod ends, pitman arm and idler arm.

Re: Idler arm frame bracket

Yes they are different from the 67-72 center links. As far as I know all the 73-87 are the same but not positive. I do have a 73-87 center link. $50 plus shipping.

I know the center link a tie rod ends are larger on the 73-87 trucks so I would guess the idler arm is larger also but it don't know that for sure. Do you have a 2 wd Blazer?

According to Napathey use the same idler arm from 67-82 2wd so the bracket might be the same but I don't have any way to prove that it is or prove that it isn't.

Re: Idler arm frame bracket

The bracket should interchange. We are talking about Chevrolet pickups, not some junker fords or dodges that are engineered by stupidity, to start with!!!!
