Question Southwest Classics?

Southwest Classics

Have any of you done any business with these folks?

I wandered into their site searching for something via a search engine.

Looking for opinions/experiences, etc..

Thanks.

Re: Southwest Classics?

I think this is Tony Farmers company. He was at Adept for a while and there I did business with him. He was knowledgeable and fair in his pricing. I haven't done anything with his new company only because its a retail operation.

Re: Southwest Classics?

dwcsr,

ah, so it's a fairly new outfit?

I was wondering why I'd never heard of it.

Thanks.

Anyone else?

Re: Southwest Classics?

Thanks for the replies folks.

I ran across 'em and didn't know enough about 'em to add 'em to my Chevrolet & GMC Trucks Parts Vendors List or not.

Re: Southwest Classics?

They are somewhat local to me (25-minutes away) and I've bought stuff from them a few times. Their store is small and they don't stock a ton of stuff. They have fair pricing and I was able to get a few of the larger items from them without paying the oversized shipping rates (rear bumper & fleetside trim). Their website isn't that great and it doesn't give accurate assessments of what they have in stock. If anyone local is thinking about going by there, I'd call them first to make sure they have what you're looking for before you make the drive. If they don't have the parts in stock, they'll order it and call you when it gets there.

It's nice to have a shop local to me, but I won't use them exclusively.

Re: Southwest Classics?

I did see on the web page they do travling swap meets. They have a meet in April near me, so I will check them out then. I did compare prices, they are fair and but also may be a few bucks more.
