Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer
Pictures as promised.
If you look close, you can see the rear tires are touching the wheel well. And the front it is staying up due to the front shocks being to long.. But like I said earlier It's Home!!!!!!!!!!!! now the real tear down begins.. And here is one with my son's 75 Blazer looking nose to nose..

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer
So, since I have been slammed at work for the past few days I have done nothing on the Blazer. I did however start my research on the 454.
Seems what I have at the moment is Block - 361959.....454.......73-90...2 or 4 bolt Heads - 346236.....75-87...oval...OPEN...454, 120cc chamber, 225/116cc ports Build dates Dec 78 Peanut Ports! yeah.... Ok Ok, on a happier note, I did fine a good set of 049 and some 781 heads locally, and will go look at them this weekend. So in the meantime, I am finishing up the details to get my 78 swb back to driving condition (it's only been a year and and half).. I am also configuring my shop space while making a lift setup to aid me when I pull the tub back off the chassis. I hope to make some headway over the weekend.

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer
Thanks,
I bounced idea's back and forth with Livrat, and by searching threads on the boards. Other members like Hotrodhomi also helped. I can't wait to get all the finish welding done and get the frame blasted, painted, and back together.. I've decided that I am going to run hard lines for my air setup, I still have to decide on air management, valves, tank, compressor etc... so I want to have those items decided before I finish the frame in case I need to fab any other mountings and what not. I look forward to seeing how it rides!

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer
One year I am going to do similar to my burb. Right now it is acting as a rolling mini storage.
