Differential vents

What do you use for your diff vents? I'm referring to the "vent" that goes in the end of the hose line that runs from the differential up to the frame. I have the original vent on the front but can't find one for the rear line. Any help would be appreciated.

the next time you head to a junk yard take a pocket knife with you and most trucks 73 and newer will have one on the frame rail in the back and the front cross member if 4wd and some even have them on the t case line which go up to the frame rail also. i use my to cut off everyone i see and have a jar full of them... you never know when you might need an extra. have a good day.

I don't have the part number with me, but the vents used on the differential hoses are the same as those used in the Turbo 350 automatic transmission's cases.

Like the others said, snag a couple a yard, or buy them for a couple of bucks right from the General.

A previous owner put coiled up air tubing on my truck. Like this:
It is then hung up by the frame so no h2o gets in there. Not the best, but it works. I might switch back someday...
