1969 stepper wheel fitment

So i have a 1969 c10 stepper.
Looking to do 20" wheels and need help with backspacing as i know the rear on the steps are tight.

wheels will be 20x8.5 in either 5.5bs or 4.75bs

WHich one is going to work out best? front and rear.

I converted my truck to 5 lug using wider 71/72 axle. I have 17x9 rear wheels with 5” bs (zero offset). I’m running 275 55 17 tires. I have about 1” clearance to bedside.

With your narrower axle you will want the 4.5” bs. But I’d spend a LOT of time searching posts and using a tape measure before dropping your $$$$.

And I’ve got to get my don’t do 20’s jab in. 17/18 the sweet spot for these trucks IMO.
