Re: Suburban and panel finds

Reposting from the truck side. Custom 71 $24500. Not mine. This looks like a lot of truck for the money.

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/...578620049.html

Beautiful custom restoration. 350 motor with auto 700r4 trans. Headers, 40 series flowmaster exhaust, shaved doorhandles, nice sound system, bluetooth/subs. Boyd wheels. New edelbrock carb. Very nice interior, overhead Air conditioning from front to rear. Ready to drive anywhere. No smog ever needed. Current registration, clean title. Asking $24500, much more invested

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 c10 $20000. At least that's what the ad says. But the 6 lug wheels make me think something or someone is wrong with the year listed. If it was mine I would know the rest of the story.

There's a lot to like on this one. I'm digging the white bumpers and the steering wheel especially. I wonder how much rust lives inside?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Nice 71 C10 on Bring a Trailer. Not mine.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...t-suburban-10/

This 1971 Chevrolet Suburban is a 1/2-ton three-door example that was refurbished and modified before the seller’s acquisition on BaT in February 2021. Subsequent work included rewiring the sound system and replacing the headliner, seats, front door cards, and carpets. Powered by a fuel-injected 350ci V8 crate engine paired with a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission, the truck is finished in matte green over black upholstery, and it is equipped with 20″ American Eagle wheels, a lowered suspension, a 2.5″ dual exhaust system, power steering, and a 40-gallon fuel tank in addition to a back-up camera, cruise control, a Vintage Air climate-control system, and a teak wood cargo floor. This sixth-generation Suburban is now offered with service manuals, a FiTech programmer, removed door cards, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Says that burb sold a couple of years ago for 25K. Some upgrades have been done since. At 12K now with a couple days to go, wonder if it will make the jump the seller is hoping for?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

looks nice..i like that flat green. also it makes me hopeful that someone would pay 25k for something that has "flaws". i like to google some of these trucks and they always look so perfect in the image..but in person, that nobody sees, is actual wear and tear and not "show truck" material.

that interior look so comfortable...

^ yah, I drove over 500 miles round trip with $20k cash for a K20 Burb and came home with an empty trailer.. 'flaws' was an understatement

Re: Suburban and panel finds

wow, that sucks. I would never sell my suburban, but I would be totally up front about ANYTHING that would raise a concern. I couldn't make someone drive all the way to look at my truck and try to hide anything after they came all that way

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Green burb at 19K didnt meet reserve. I was reading the comments and thought this one was amusing after reading the last line I couldnt help saying in my head Good Day Sir!

So nobody gets it because the minimum wasn’t met? What’s the point of bidding if the person can snatch the car back if they don’t get asking price? Lost me on this site.

That carpac rack is way too small. I had the biggest size like 7.5 footer. It still looked tiny on my burb

Re: Suburban and panel finds

68 in Green! $14000. Not mine.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/f...716918034.html

I have a 1968 Chevrolet Suburban. I had plans to build this but don't have the time right now so going to sell until I get some more time to do another one.

It has a rebuilt small block 350 (355) with a manual transmission. It has a good cam in it. Dual exhaust. Sounds very well! Runs and drives well. New clutch and flywheel.

4-wheel disk brakes using a '66 rear end which is about 2" narrower per side to run a wider offset wheel in the rear. Currently running 2"-wheel spacers. 20" wheels. 6 lug front and rear. It has all new suspension, ball joints, tierods, bushings etc. New lowering kit including a C-notch in the rear Rides nice! New brake booster and pads etc.

Has a new front and middle row carpet kit. Front and middle bench seats. Seats are in good shape, just have covers on them since they are different colors.

It has new rear tubs installed, new sparetire tub installed. Good original wood floor with no rot. It has the obvious rust in the normal places. I believe I have every replacement panel for it included.

All body trim and emblems are on it. Light's function.

$14,000

I also have a turbo 400 trans with all the supporting Lokar components to do the swap to an automatic available for $1000. Brand new swap stuff in the box. Lokar floor shifter etc.

69 K model $13500. Not mine. Looks to have originally been a 2 row Burban. These are certainly getting harder to find in what looks to be a decent driver condition.

Solid old suburban. 3 door with both sets of back seats. 4spd with a 350
