Yeah, truck reverse light buckets are different than the suburban. They are not reproduced from what I can find

I have the buckets. I need the actual wiring plug. I used a universal harness, then I ordered what was supposed to be the reverse plugs from LMC, and there's no way they are right. they don't have any way to latch to the bucket like the top running/brake light plug does

The sleeves I made from a plastic sleeve left from a credit card printer paper roll cut to length and held in with a tiny screw . The picture shows the LMC connector on the left and my broken original on the right . the last picture is what the connector should look like. Which comes as part of the harness from https://chevrolet.obsoleteandclassic...o_Page_281.jpg.

Re: WTB - Suburban reverse plug

ahhh gotcha thought u salvaged that idea from an existing plug somewhere. that rear harness in that link looks like the entire rear section. hate to pay 100 bucks for like a foot for each side. hopefully I can find someone cutting off from a good harness

That's what I'm hoping for as well.

That will work. It has the connector for a side marker light included that '67 and '68 does not use .('67 has no markers and '68 has reflectors only).

The part I referenced is 1 side only, so you would need two of them,

Great. My hack is working but if I find good used OE replacements I'd go back and change it back.
