WTB 71-72 12 bolt

Looking for a (wide, 5 lug) 71-72 coil spring 12 bolt, ratio not important. Do not need brakes. I will pick up anywhere in Western OR or WA. Let me know if you have one.
Thanks!

Not real close to you, but it's boxed up and ready to go. (not mine)

I might have one. Tell me what the measurement is from backing plate to backing plate. If I remember correctly I don't have the drums on it so that would be easiest way to measure.

I just got a running '72. If I sell the 12 bolt out of it, it will be $800...You pull.

Spoke too soon, found it in a quick search:

The 70 1/2 and earlier width is 62-3/8" from wheel mount to wheel mount. The 70 1/2 and later (up to about 78 or so) width is 63-3/4" from wheel mount to wheel mount.

If it is the larger and has 5 lug axles, do you know the ratio and condition? What would you want for it?

Re: WTB 71-72 12 bolt

For 800 dollars I would think that box would show up on my front porch. Holy cow.

Anyways- I have a couple rear ends, I can measure in the morning- relatively positive I have one that needs drums. PM me a number and I’ll send you some pics. I’m in Covington WA.

Im pretty sure its a five lug, no reason for me to have purchased a six lug, just unsure of the width or ratio. Condition … all I know is it came out of a running truck that was parted. Im not positive but I think I paid 200 bucks for it so that is what I would ask.

But it looks like another fella has one so Ill wait to see what he comes up with for you.

Re: WTB 71-72 12 bolt

I haven't found the one I believe I have yet. When our nephew purchased the family farm a lot of stuff got moved around and we scrapped five parts and "project" vehicles. I hope its hiding out there somewhere and it didn't get hauled off. Im going out there again today to poke around.

No worries, some other stuff came up and I have to put off getting the 12 bolt replaced for now. Life happens as always. Truck still works but noisy as hell from 45-60 and of course I live at the coast, so that's right where the speeds are out here.
