Picture of wiper switch correct install

Hey guys I am looking for either the correct way to mount the Winchell wiper switch. I have seen it with a washer and nut that secures it to the metal dash. I have seen it with no nut no washer just the chrome bazel nut.
I would like to secure it to the dash with a nut. Is that incorrect?

You need the star lock washer and nut to hold the switch in the dash, otherwise it may not get a good ground. No ground, no workie.....

That’s what I figured but I could not locate a picture to confirm. Even LMC doesn’t show a nut or washer.

Re: Picture of wiper switch correct install

Does anyone have a picture of the washer and nut? I can’t locate a nut that fits locally.

Great Thank you. Now no need to find one it’s like a 1/2” by 28 thread or something. I checked it’s not 32 or 24 thread.

Anyone have an extra???

Fred has a complete switch on the parts board. I can't tell if the nut and lock washer are there or not, You would have to ask him....

I sent him a PM. Thank you for the help.
It’s always the small things that stop a build.
