'67-'72 GMC Tailgate with Original Paint
This tailgate will fit '67 - '72 GMC trucks. I believe it came off of a 1972 GMC. I've had it for about 15 years. I was going to use it, but have never gotten a chance to. I got it from a guy who took it off his truck when it was about 2 years old and stored it in his rafters. It is super-nice and straight, no dents, no rust. It does show a little bit of surface rust by the handle and bottom. It does have the stainless steel cover for the handle, which is very rare. It has the dealership name, which looks like it's stuck on with double-back tape, not screwed on. It's the original paint, which looks to be medium olive & white. It has a few light scratches in the paint. I believe you could take the GMC woodgrain panel off and put a Chevy panel on, if you wanted it to be a Chevy tailgate. I've tried to take good enough pictures for you to see all details. I do have more pictures, if someone wants them. I know I won't be able to find one this nice, if I need one in the future, but must downsize. I do not want to ship this. I can deliver it to KC this Friday or Saturday (Sept 8 or 9). The first I take it, owns it. $1500.
