Re: Billet 67-72 Door Handles

We will be making some washers that have the curvature of the door panel. This will allow the bolts to be tightened properly to the door panel.
I am glad that this was brought to our attention and is a simple fix.

Re: Billet 67-72 Door Handles

if you made them off 67 only handles you might be onto something nobody repops them advertise them . what nos go for your probably on par price wise and us guys with 67 don't have a lot made just for us it probably be nice to have a part that just bolts right up for a change

GSIMFAB
I know the difference in 67 truck handles verses 68-72.
There is a picture in the thread below in post#7

I watched some of your videos and subbed.
That's some cool work you do.
I also checked out your website.
My question is Besides the quantity are there any difference in your Suburban handles verses the truck handles?

Re: Billet 67-72 Door Handles

This reminds me I need to call and get some misalignment washers/spacers from them. I got one of the first 10 sets done and they didn't fit exactly. I didn't realize they were based off the 67 handle. I already had my doors together for a while before I found out about their issue, but need to put the correct pieces in there some time.

Hey Ryan
You gave me a Good Idea.
I have thought about machining these spacers myself.
For After Market (not for 67) door handles.
Vendors do not make them for 67's only

Bushing to fit a 67 to 68-72 Handle
Then bushing to fit a 68-72 to a 67 handle
It is just a Bushing MACHINED at the Perfect degree(angle)
Of course the math needs to be applied.
Probably like most of us on the site We all have (Plenty of Doors)
I will try to do the math and with my 1970 handles verses 1967 maybe I can get an angle difference. When I have (Time)
Dwayne
