What did that set you back? I am on the fence so far about building my 350 or doing the swap.

Looks good man! I just got the 6.0LSx and 4l80e installed in my 71. I think they look nice under the hood of these models.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Chin up 69Rumbler, you may not have a 572 but you probably don't have that dash pad either. Congrats on the install.

I just couldn't resist after your lead in. That Vortech looks good in that truck. For a DD that's a really good choice. Mine, you measure the mileage in gallons/mile but it sure does spank the boy-racer mustang guys!

Closer to six!
But it's how you get there that matters, not the destination.

What kind of mileage are you getting out of, not a play run, but when your keeping your foot out of it.

Re: Eat Your Heart OUT !!

Yea I love my truck even more hahah ... It's awesome for a DD , I'm getting more them 10 light poles haha like 17 mpg realistically driving ..
Thanks guys it was one thing after an other with this paint is next just can't put a cheap paint job on it . So I need to save , hahah
Yea I got a good deal on it . It's good to be able to talk people down when it comes to paying them lol ... I wanted an 6.0 but for the price couldn't say no , and I'll have to drop a cam and I'll get an extra 100 Hp . So I'm ok with that .

Re: Eat Your Heart OUT !!

What exhaust manifolds and motor mounts did you use? Did you modify the Engine harness or computer?

And did you have to mod your frame for the exhaust manifolds?
