1970 One Ton Dually 4x4 12 Valve Cummins Build

Among the other projects I have going on at this time thought I would share this one with you. It promises to be a very nice build sparing nothing.

This truck is going to be a non a/c one ton 4x4 dually with 10' flat bed and will be sporting a 12 valve Cummins and 6 spd trans, everything that is being put into this is either brand new or very well rebuilt.

Hope you enjoy following this build.

Neat start Randall!! I do have a question. The button head allen bolts you used for the rear spring hangars, are they grade 8? If so, where did you find them? They do make for a clean look!!!

Re: 1970 One Ton Dually 4x4 12 Valve Cummins Build

Love the cummins crew cab flatbed. Would be very interested in having you build me one in a year or so. I would like the AC cab though. Gets real hot here in southern Oregon. I have the flatbed already on my duramax but turning my truck into a service body work truck and need a new fifth wheel puller for the family. Cummins dually flatbed crew cab sounds perfect! I'll give you a call soon. Awesome skills by the way, absolutely love your attention to detail.

Hey Randall, do you have anymore pics or detail on how you built the front spring hangers? I'm looking to do the same thing. Thanks
