I know they're more expensive but they seem to tuck up nice between the rails. I don't want the tank to hang down and be visible.
Check my build thread. The tank cost me 50 bucks at a junk yard, but they punched a hole in it to drain the gas. The back half of my 65 has a 73 frame I put on it. The gas tank looks like it will fit good. I think it's a 22 gallon. I was going to get the tank from Truck Parts. It looked like a nice set up you bolt in. It's only $190.00 with sender and straps. Look at the index for gas tanks.
