door diagram

i could use some help i have a 54 chevy ,the doors have wing windows i am wanting to put in 48 to50 model windows in i got the window fram from ebay and had windows cut . has anyone done this ,do you have to change the hardware
appreciate any help

Yes, I did it to my '52. Much easier just to change out the complete doors.

This shows you what you'll need.

Yep, did it to mine too, much easier to get other doors, but I couldn't,, find any so....good pics in my build thread.

I'm not sure if anyone makes the channel that runs down the front and fastens to the front of the door that the felt channel sits in. I've got half a dozen 47/50 doors and none have that piece left in them.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I made mine, then found someone making them. I'll see if I can find it again..
