Tail light bezel. Best quality?

I just realized I'm missing tail light bezels. I see several suppliers have them and prices vary. Does quality vary?

Re: Tail light bezel. Best quality?

The ones that I got were not very shiny and did not fit flush to the body.

I suspect there is one manufacturer and many sellers.

Re: Tail light bezel. Best quality?

Funny you bring this up now as I just got done messing with this. First I bought some from Classic Parts. They were shinier than the OEM knockoffs and the shape was a bit more rounded. I liked them so I set about getting another pair which I mistakenly bought from Cassic Industries instead. They were like the OEM's in shape and finish but the quality was bad. They had nasty machining marks on them. When I realized my mistake, I called Classic Industries and sent them some pics. They checked their whole stock and they were all bad so they gave me my money back.

Re: Tail light bezel. Best quality?

I took a pic of each. Its dark but I used a drop light. The first pic is Classic Parts.
The second is Classic Industries. The nasty machining marks don't show in my pic but they are kind of bad. They let me keep the bezels even though they gave me a refund.

Re: Tail light bezel. Best quality?

Mine came from classic parts and have a poor finish with about 1/16 gap from sitting flush.

I ordered a set from Chevy Pit Stop on Ebay. It says they are polished so I'll see. I could always send away and plate them. My new back up lights just below are chrome so dull bezels would really look off.
