Re: More paint issues

Well....a little dabll do ya...just like the old brylcream commercial....
I'm gonna call this a success...I did the paint dabs in a bunch of spots on the worst of the 2 doors..let it dry a couple days..got out there tonite and started on the spots with 600g wrapped around a paint stick..
I sanded in a X pattern across them ...I know where most were and for the life of me , I cant see them now ..i had the LEDs shining across the door so i could tell when they were gone..after I got them all I went over the whole door panel with 600g to give it a consistent finish..I'll go back with 1500 and 2000g then buff ..I think its gonna be fine...
So I've now learned a new trick on how to fix blemishes...

And a big thanks to all for the advice and tips...

I tried getting some before and after pics but they just wouldnt show them well..
I'll add some pics after I buff ...hopefully get that done this weekend ..
On my way back out to do touchups on the other door..

No clearcoat just single stage paint Thanks for the compliment I guess I like showing it because the black gives a good reflection
I restored this for a guy more recently Basecoat clearcoat although it came out nice it just don’t pop like the black

Re: More paint issues

I made this when it was very humid out . 10 gallon cooler with 25 ft of copper coil fill it with water and some ice . I learned I needed about 25 ft between the cooler and my last separator so the air warmed up a bit. Not professional looking but does the job after this I have the harbor frieght tp type that was posted . My booth is a 10x20 screened in canopy
