I have a set of these brackets installed in my 86 C20. Fit great, no issues. I added some sound insulation behind the speakers before the final mounting.

Do you know what speakers fit in with out spacers? I read under 3 1/2 inch deep?

They should be there by tomorrow, they were shipped early in the week, and I sent them priority mail. I was busy ALL last week building a Halloween parade float and props for this past Saturday's parade. It was chaotic to say the least.

Duel 77-87 Factory air cleaner, duel inlet from rad support . Down sized 9' to new 8' Steel flat bed Was a 77 454 w/308 gear. Taken out 550 lbs. up front with motor clip change.
