my son has put 500 miles on his 68 already !
LOL
 my sons 68 is running good he has put 500 miles on it in a little less than a week I THINK HE LIKES IT !

Thats awesome Im betting he gets attention from lots of strangers asking about it. and I'm sure half of his friends say I want one too!
we have been in the same boat my kid has been driving the wheels off the fleetside. I cant even imagine the $ he spent in gas this summer cruzing around in it with his gf! few weeks ago we were sitting around the camp fire shootin bull an a bunch of us got on him for rompin around town! its a very small town an the truck is stupid loud please respect your neighbors. some times in the evenig you can here him leave for work for like 2 maybe 3 mi. down the highway. If your kid is anything like mine he allways gets out of the truck with a smile! except the other week he said he lost oil pressure and was worried! ahhh It was just a kinked burden tube.

funny ,,, the radiator is leaking in his 68 so I told him I would order a new radiator for my 67 and give him mine its good ,, I told him to just park it till the new radiator comes in ,, he said he would just carry gallons of water and ride it anyway LOL

Guess he dont mind the price of gas.....
 .......Thats great he is enjoying it.....I dont think we will have much problem with the next generation....I know my boy of 12 is already telling everyone my truck is his when he turns 16...... ....we will see.....
