Sway bar needed
Anyone got a good swaybar they want to sell? I need one for my 69. It doesn't have one and after reading posts on this topic, I want one.

I have a stock one. No brackets or bushings. I have no idea on how much it would cost to ship tho. $20 plus shipping........

Hit up your local junk yard. you can pull a sway bar off 1967-1987 trucks that will fit yours. That's what I did. I got mine for $30 and it bolted right on. The brackets and bushings were in great shape too. Look out for the different thicknesses. You'll get a thicker bar from the 4wd's and the 3/4 tons. I pulled a 3/4" bar off a 1987 3/4 ton truck. This is absolutely the most inexpensive upgrade you can do to your truck. My truck corners so well now.

Thanks for the info on the swaybar. I made a few calls to some of the junk yards here and they pulled one and had it waiting for me with all of the bushings and brakets for $40. That will work for me. I hope I get the same improvement that everyone seems to get when they install one of these were there was none. I'm sure it will make a huge difference.

if you can't knock off the rivets just leave the large brackets. They are available from several vendors.

You probably want to use new poly byushings anyway.
