well guys here it is 71 long bed

Well here it is 1971 chevy c/10 it has a 350 and a three on the tree and you guessed it lots of rust but thats a battle for a diffrent day this is my first chevy truck to restore so its going to be a learn as I go process.

The first goal motor swap!!!!! I will be posting pictures of it once I get it done.

The first problem I have run in to cant get the motor out its stuck on something. I have everything disconnected and I can lift the motor up a little bit and rock it back and forth but its still not letting go. There is even a gap in between the bellhousing and the block

Re: well guys here it is 71 long bed

Well small up date and pictures should follow tomorrow. Its at the shop right now getting a few small things done. Normally I dont use shops but I was way to tired to finish up wireing due to the fact that in three days I compleatley restored the engine bay and did a motor swap , u joints, clutch ,rad, trans fluid, rear main seal , new gaskets and minor work on the 12 bolt, all new hoses all the way around the truck , got the three speed working agin.

Now the fun part when it gets back..... all new sheet metal yay... all said in done I am hopeing to have a full resto done in less then 4 months already off to a good start.

It was a lip on the bell housing I had to pull them out together. It almost drove me crazy but its out now and the old paper weight of a motor is now in the scrap pile.
