Whoo Hoo, 2nd Place!!!

Yeah, I know...2nd place. Sounds kinda bad, but let me explain! My truck was entered in the Slamboree X car and truck show in Norman, OK on the 23 & 24 of August. We got 2nd place in the 1967-1987 Truck class. Why this is so good, is this. It was a national competition. TRUCKIN magazine was there doing an event article, so, my truck could be in truckin next month. How cool would that be?! Anyways, wanted to share the good news.

Peace, and God Bless.

I wouldn't look for it next month.I know Big Orange had his truck featured but I think it was several months between the photo shoot and print. I hope they do feature it but I just don't want you to expect to see it too soon.

sorry about taking so long

Hey guys, sorry about taking so long to get the pics. Had to remember where they were. Anyways, these aren't very high quality pics, and the lighting the day we shot them wasn't very good. You'll have to actually see the truck and see the paint job to let it do justice. They liked it at the slamboree show, and hopefully you will too. enjoy.

Oh, thats your truck... I seen pics of it on here before that is like my favorite truck besides my own, honestly..... I love the look!!! I was looking for pics of it the other day but I couldnt find any... If you have bigger ones please post em, or email em to me... Please....... To be totally honest, I have seen 2 trucks that have made me want to consider looking into the 67-72 style as my next project(still might) and yours is one of them..

Trailer queen, no...as a matter of fact, the truck that edged me out was a long bed with a factory big-block. I think it was lowered a little bit lower than mine, but other than that, I think mine is a little nicer, but, I wasn't the show judge. Whoever it was that won, congrats! I saw the truck that won, and we were right up there with them. I'm betting it was a close race.

Lucky, I'm glad my truck inspires you. peace.
