Keeping the thread alive. Here are pics of my rear set up. I got the brackets from glock35ipsc it worked out really nice for a rear disc set up. Any questions I think I can answer now.

Looks very nice. This doesn't change where the wheel sits in relation to the read-end at all does it? i.e. thickness of rotor, spacing the wheel out from axles more or less?

Also, what's the price break-down on parts?

The rotor might be 1/8" thicker than a drum but I dont think it would be noticeable.
rotors $30 each (Napa)
calipers $50 each (Napa)
brake pads $45 (Napa) yes there are cheaper ones available
caliper brackets $30 each (Napa)
brackets from glock35ipsc $50
You could do this alot cheaper if you went with used parts and cheaper pads.
I was able to find caliper cores on ebay for $20 for the pair. If you dont have cores most places have a core charge from $75-100 per caliper. So its worth your time to hunt down some cores.

Re: Who has Impala SS rear disc brakes ??

any update on camaro brackets glock?

does anyone work at an auto parts store and measure rear envoy rotors (6 lug) compared to the impala rotors (5 lug)? I would like to do a 6 lug conversion w/e-brake and keep my 15" rims... just a thought...

Did you have to use any spacers to center the caliper over the rotor?

Been working with the CNC machine today, trying to work out the bugs and get all the parameters right to make a nice clean cut. I do have them drawn up in CAD, and may send them out for now just to get them done for those that want them.

The spacer is about 3/8" on mine. You should be able to see it in this pic.

Re: Who has Impala SS rear disc brakes ??

UPDATE!!!! The material came in today for the Camaro caliper brackets. I just need to make a minor dimension change in CAD, then I will cutting them this weekend. I will post a for sale ad in the classifieds when they are ready to ship.

** Edit ** - I thought the package that was delivered today was my rotors.....WRONG!! I checked the tracking number and I will have the rotors Tuesday, so once I mock up the first set Tuesday night, and be sure everything is OK, THEN i will have them ready to ship.
