Post Someone Had an Ash Tray Made to Flip Open

Someone on the board had a truck where they converted their ash tray to flip open to hide switches? I would like to see it again and find out more about it. Thanks

I believe it was shadetree. I e-mailed him a long time ago about sending some more pics and info on this Mod. but never did receive pics. But it is a cool little option. I am still looking at doing something similar

I was thinking about turning the ash tray into a slide out cup holder. Has anyone done this?

I was thinking cup holder too.

I was thinking a mid-90s Taurus pop out cup holder would be an easy mod.

The way the head gaskets pop and trannys fail on those cars every junkyard in the country must have one.

I believe this might be what you are looking for. This was off shadetree's site, but there were no close ups or deatils on the ash tray. Hope he doesn't mind me posting this.

Ochre/White/Ochre
Runs well... working on body.
Plan to get painted weekend before memorial day weekend.
Planned to be done March 7 when I turned 16. Didn't happen. Chose to do better job and be behind schedule instead of 1/2 doing it and it looking like junk.
