Re: Painting emblems using lacquer paint and a hypodermic syringe

Thanks man, I'll try and get an 18 gauge needle today, I have a prescription for those but I've been using the smaller 23 and 25 gauges for treatment.

*I am a recovering intravenous mercury addict if anyone is curious.

Anyone ever go into the pharmacy and tell the clerk "your cyanide inhaler needs a refill?" I love doing stuff like that.

Re: Painting emblems using lacquer paint and a hypodermic syringe

I just now got in, was able to bum (although I offered to pay for it) an 18 gauge needle from my doctor's nurse and I picked up some nail polish that was as close as I could get to the front blue "bowtie" emblem.

I know it won't be correct but I want my side emblems to be blue instead of black.

I will keep you guys posted and try to come up with some pics.

Thanks to all in this thread I was able to revive my set.
One tip I can add is if you get any paint where it doesnt belong just rub it after dry with acetone on a q-tip.
Im going to find some old super badges and paint em to match.

I used it on my "Custom/10" emblems....worked pretty well and the emblems are now on my truck.
