Question smaller diameter coil springs ???????

i just found the solution to my problem but i dont know if they make them or not.
do they make a small diameter coil spring for my 71 ? (rear/lowered)im not worried if i need to cut them down either since i dont use the truck to haul anything. if so who/how much ?

if they do then i can fit the 68 rear without a problem. thats the only real problem i have with this swap is my coils are a 1/4" from my tires now so i cant go narrower.
thanks
lance

would love to but the cost is way more than the narrow coils i found and i would have to have mounts welded onto frame/rear etc. just adding more cost. guess thats the whole reason i said i would never do this again but here i am (had 8yrs in a 68 camaro and still never finished it)

Re: smaller diameter coil springs ???????

I tried a set of "A" body springs and it only lowered the rear of my '67 stepside about 1". I then tried just the coil over Monroes that were on the truck and they were about the same at 1". I finally just put in some bags...now I want to notch it! Message? You can never get too low...LOL!

my truck is lowered so thats what i need but the overall diameter is my biggest problem with this rear swap (other than he may actually have a 6 bolt rear ) i have enough room for the narrower rear if my springs where small around.
