WTB Blazer hatch

WTB a nice Blazer hatch. I am looking for an un-repaired original hatch for my 1972 Blazer.

Re: WTB Blazer hatch

I have this one looks like there is a crack around one of the catches but there is so many layers of paint its hard to tell also looks like the corner is starting to separate. Doesn't appear to have any other cracks around the normal areas. The handle area does have a missing pieces but will be hidden by the handle. I can get more pictures if needed 400 plus shipping. If interested send me your zip and I will get you a shipping quote guessing around 100 shipping maybe cheaper if you don't need the glass.

Re: WTB Blazer hatch

I was hoping for an un-damaged one. How bad is the cracking? What does the outside look like across the bottom ?

Have you tried to loosen any of the bolts? How are the threads for the handle? Is the crack that looks like a split on the bottom edge the only one? No outside or inside cracks? My biggest concern is rusted plates and structural cracks. These gates usually have minor hairline cracks in the corners by the glass. Thank You for the extra pictures.

Re: WTB Blazer hatch

No didn't try to loosen the bolts. I think the threads where the handle bolts are good but will double check. That's the only one I've seen but it does have a lot of paint on it. I can get you some pictures of the corners by the glass. I may have plates if they are rusted I've replaced them before they are only pop riveted in I'll check tomorrow. I'm getting ready to part that blazer so I can take the hatch off and get a lot better look at it in a couple of days.

Re: WTB Blazer hatch

The nuts for the handle are fine I actually heated them up when I removed the handle. Here are the pictures of the corners the paint definitely has cracks just don't know if its because of the paint being so thick or other issues. I didn't look for the plates but if your still interested after these pictures I will look.
