Big trucks yes, ----little, sleek, smooth, sexy trucks---NO.
Factory build had the raised hockey puck roof---but the teardrops were offered as a dealer add-on. Wonder how they would look on my BLAZER!!

Re: Who likes cab lights??

Im not to fond of the big honk'n stock ones, but I had a set of 88-98s that I sat up top of my 67 & they fit the contour rather well & looked sweet
Plus there is a rubber gasket that goes under them & that would make up for any differences in contour

Re: Who likes cab lights??

Cab Lights?... Can't say that I am a fan.... ...... unless, of course I ever need to start tricking for Gas Money.... Might just have to start calling the truck Roxanne.... (That was a P/O's modification... not mine, since I don't particularly think it is legal... The guy seems to have a thing for Toggle Switches too... as there are three in the dash.. one for the Hooker light, one three-way switch for the Overhead light aaannnnddd the worklight he mounted to the underside of the front crossmember... also another to run the heater fan.... )

Re: Who likes cab lights??

My shortbed K/30 will have cab lights...on raised pads. It`s the only cab I have left and was intended to be swapped onto one of my K/20s.I sold two and the GMC keeper I`m keeping original,so to speak.

Re: Who likes cab lights??

I was always fond of those lights, but my father was an IH truck owner until they quit building them, maybe thats why?

Re: Who likes cab lights??

They may just be an after market light used by IH, we have a 94 IH 9200 semi tractor which has the same lights on it, they were also used in the late 60's and early 70's by IH on their pickups BTW, muscletrucks, where did you find those, I need one of the amber lense

Re: Who likes cab lights??

I added the factory lights to my '70 C20, they look great on there with stainless tripod mirrors. They're not going on the new cab though since the truck didn't have 'em originally. My '84 and '86 1 tons have cab lights and both trucks also have the white DG5 West Coast Senior mirrors so they look awesome. If a truck has clearance lights at least put tripod mirrors(either the short mount or fold out towing version), West Coast Jr or Sr. mirrors on the doors. The Sr.'s would look really weird on a 2WD pickup though! They don't look too bad on the '86 since it's a dually and it's 4x4.

Re: Who likes cab lights??

Work truck = yes
Street truck = no

Since your truck has an awesome "can do" look to it, I would say yes.
