Here are some pics of the kickpanels in raw form. I haven't covered them in vinyl yet. I would build these for $80 per set raw, if I could get at least 5 people to commit to buying them. I would vinyl wrap them for another $25. I use high quality vinyl glued directly to the panel(no padding) for a smoother look. I can also get just about any speaker that you would want for them. The ones pictured are Audiobahn ABF series 5.25", they are available for $60. I can also build these for 6.5" speakers or with the tweeter mounted seperately. You guys let me know what you would like to see.

Here is a pic fo a finished pair for a different application(88-98 chevy)

I would be interested in a set...vinyl covered (charcoal or dark gray) and in the 5 1/4 speaker size. Maybe with a tweeter mounted separate?? How long do they take to make?? What would shipping be to 99011? I may have two other people here who are building trucks with me that may be interested as well. Group discounts?? Anyway, I am interested in a set! Thanks!

To make them at this price I would want to make at least 5 sets that are exactly alike. That is the only way that I can make it worthwile for me to do. I could probably build 5 sets in 2-3 days. No discounts, if you have done any of this knd of work you already know that this is a hella good deal.

hey Bagged,

I'm interested if you can get a light gray color vinyl. I'd have to take a pic of my carpet to get a color that was close. I'd probably want the 6.5's.

thanks,

"I can also build these for 6.5" speakers or with the tweeter mounted seperately."

Same price with or without tweeter? Do you have pics of panels with a tweeter hole? What are our color options on the vinyl? Will these fit the 67/68's? How deep of a speaker can it hold? Shipping to 99011? We are almost up to 5 people!!!

bagged74, are they angled up to the driver or pointing straight ahead?. The reason I ask is because the speaker hole is up high close to the vent like the standard ones vendors sell. It's hard to tell in the pic. They do look nice.

separate woofer (give it a little boom boom) and tweeter. How do the finished
ones sound?

Hmmm, my C-30 has radio delete, but I'm still interested in a set of covered black ones with the tweeter if everyhing clears the emergency brake and I still can use my vents.

bagged74--put me down for a set too, with tweeters if possible, but not necessary. i'd prefer a dark gray vinyl, or raw if that's not available. PM me with the details...delviery date, total cost, etc.

The chrome piece in the middle of that speaker is actually a tweeter, but I'm sure it's not included for that price. He made these for a truck I'm doing for a customer.

How did you deal with the Ebrake and the Driver side kickpanel Vent opener rod? Does the ebrake clear or will it take a bit of fansy work with a welder to move it. Did you just remove rod for the kickpanel vent. Thanks Jamie

The rod for the vent is still functional. It is actually used to mount the top of the panel. I can make these in 6.5" with the seperate tweeter for the same price. I know the clear the underdash e-brake(67-68) fine, I will check and make sure they do not interfere with the othere style.
They are angled up from the floor, not firing straight across.

I doubt they will clear the foot e-brake, when I put in the custom autosound pods I had to move the brake over a bit to clear, yours are a lot deeper than those.

I have Audiobahn ABC525's with the 5.25 sub and the ... 2 1/4? I think it is tweeter and I want a pair of these in BLACK vinyl, just tell me how much with shipping and where you want the moolah sent (I prefer paypal it's just so easy to use). I want a place for the tweeters and the subs to be mounted as I don't wanna cut up the dash metal to mount the tweeters (or the door metal).

I am still very much interested as well. Looking for one set with the 5 1/4" hole, and a tweeter....and another set with just the 5 1/4" hole. The one with tweeter covered in charcoal, and the other set raw. Looks like there are alot of people interested....do we have enough to get the process started?? Let me know when I need to send the money, and how to send it. Thanks much!!
