custom grill

i finally have time to get at my project.i couldnt find much for aftermarket grills for a 67 gmc so i built my own.did a litle hacking, slashing, welding and grinding and this is the result.i bought a billet grill for somewheres between a 73-87 chevy did more hacking slashing and nail biting pressing and came out with a custim grill.

Re: custom grill

That looks good! Never really cared for the center bars on the gmc grills so I think that is a HUGE improvement. The dual headlights look really good with the billet fins.

Re: custom grill

Reminds me of the grille on my '81 El Camino, but the Elky had single headlights instead of duals......looks good.

Re: custom grill

Here's steve lindsay's GMC grille on the truck he's selling. It was more hacked by the PO though than the work you did.

If you want one like mine just buy the grille and put it in no mods needed. The tabs that hold the egg crate in you just put screws through them and it's in. It can't get no easier!
