Swapping manual pedals for auto pedals?

Can I remove the factory manual clutch/brake pedals and install a factory auto pedal assembly from a 66 chevy, into a 71? If not, where can I find an auto pedal assembly?

just remove the clutch pedal, the brake pedal was the same in automatics as in standard shift trucks.

Ooo nice! So it's not the length of the newer brake pedals?

Re: Swapping manual pedals for auto pedals?

Nope, I am fabbing a 87 auto brake pedal to go on my 67. I swapped the complete front suspension and the booster and mastercylinder. Not a big deal, I liked how the 87 pedal looked and worked. basically cut the arm from the pivot and welded it to the 67 pivot. Haven't worked out the brake light switch yet though. Much easier to do what Longhorn man said.
