Need help for pricing this K5 '72

Hey everyone I'm planning on parting out a K5. It is probably one of the cleanest bodies I've seen. If it hadn't been for the fact I have no titile on it. I probably would have looked at brining it back to life. This thing was drug up from Juarez mexico. Has a 305 or 307 but not in it and Some kind of tranny and dana t case. I will be using the inners and upper floor for my K5 and maybe the front left fender but I am willing to ship anything on this as long as people don't mid paying for it. I thought I would see what I could get for some of these parts. the double wall top is ok but cracked. I may use it to make a halftop. And the hatch needs work. So if yall have any ideas about what pics I need to get some prices (edited for bad choice of words), let me know. THe console has a hole in it and the the rear seat need work. As always the outer rocker door seal is shot. Thanks Jason. I will put up another thread when I get this tore down on the for sale board, It will be at least 2 weeks but maybe three.

Find the full pic list here.

Re: Need help for pricing this K5 '72

What are the sun visors like? Also is there a front "K5Blazer" emblem on one of the fenders? And lastly the SPID says it has body side molding, are there any "chevrolet" letters on the tailgate, mainly the C and H? Thanks!

Well there's another angle to look at it... (WIW) = Is there enough people interested in these parts to make it worth his time to part it out??? There's parts everywhere on this board, a little reasearch and you can find the going price for anything...

I don't like offering in fear of upsetting. I was also getting in line when he figures what he wants for what.

I prefer to exercise restraint instead of authority, but some people just don't know how to communicate.

Re: Need help for pricing this K5 '72

Wow, Well I edited the first post and thats my bad for not being clear. Um if any body wants to help me with prices that would be great. As always I appreciate any help. Um ... I guess I can't say I'm new to this board but I am new to selling parts so I will attempt to correct my mistakes in this thread from here on out. If you are posting after this I will post these parts in the proper FOR SALE threads.

As far as getting prices I have been searching a lot trying to find the right price on some of this stuff (Oddly enough i got this good bit of advice not only from this thread, but from a friend in a PM last week). Some of it is just hard to find and if not it is just very subjective. So I'm doing my best.

Husker, 49M, and Critter I will give yall first shot on those parts as soon as I get em out (that is in the proper threads), When I post em I'll notify you and make sure you get first shot.

Sorry for the confusion. Thanks -Jason

Re: Need help for pricing this K5 '72

Wow that really escalated quickly! It sounds like you are truly parting this thing and every part is for sale, other than what you mentioned using for yourself of course. I think it would be good to post some more pics especially of the outside. Putting them up on your photo website is cool with me.

And as far as prices go, I would probably pay $100 or so for the list of goodies I asked about…depending on the condition of the parts of course.

Re: Need help for pricing this K5 '72

Everytime I see a WIW all I see are offers to buy.Even when a guy is just wondering. At least offer a value, then ask to have dibs once the item is for sale.

I bet you could sell it whole as a parts Blazer for $2,000.Or,even after letting bits and pieces go.The tub is worth the $2Gs.Guys get $300-$500 for rolling frames. The console`s worth about $50.That factory skid-plate $75-$100.Was there a transfer case skid-plate,too?
