Looks good.

How was it ordered from Classic Tube? Was it a specific kit or just a generic brake line kit for a rear end?

Re: Rods 57

Did it happen to come with the SS spring wrap or did you have to order separately? Are you running rear discs - which ones? Thanks, Jim

The SS wrap came on it. I am running drum brakes on the rear, vented disc up front.

Re: Rods 57

Have not got much done lately but i did get a little project on the truck close to done. I borrowed this idea from this forum but made it my own. I had a bunch of old valve covers laying around so i made my glove box door a bit different. I still have to put some filler but the metal work is done, snd this is the first coats of epoxy primer.

I cut the back of the door off so i could make it straight. I knew it would warp when I welded it but took my time and it came out pretty good.

Thanks guys, it was really a copy of an idea i saw, it turned out way nicer than I thought it would the door is really thin and I was sure it would end up in the scrape pile, but I am just dumb enough to try it and it worked out...

I wish I had skills, I am just an old hack, but my son in law is a welder and he is doing the teaching, he is the husband of this one. I am a proud man she is a great kid, so is he.

Re: Rods 57

I love your glovebox door and the shot ChuckDriver posted of the script under the back glass. With spring on the way I can't wait to see more progress on your truck. The shot of your daughter TIG welding is great. I always love to see my kids try/learn/do new things.
