Question 1967 Chevy Truck Resto'

OKay I posted this on the main forum and just now found this one.

The bottom line is should I sell it and get something more managable or dredge thru it and fix it slowly as time and money permits?

Thanks,

p.s. I don't have any body work experience which is the core of what this rig needs. Well that and a ton of replacement panels and welding. Again neither which I have any experience doing.

So too much? Mechnical is not a problem, everything else is.

Question Re: 1967 Chevy Truck Resto'

Okay experts.

How do you guys start your restore projects?

Do you break it down into group of things you can do and then call on frineds or experts for areas you have no knowledge of doing? Like body work and welding. And yes I plan on buying one and learning. But would rather have someone that has years of experience of welding and bodyworking skills install patch panels and other repairs.

My issue is I do not have a gargage. So everything I am doing in out in the weather. If I had access to a gargage that I could rent I would do that but thats more expense at this point.

I can easily break down the whole truck by myself or with friends. But would rather not do that until I have made a list of what needs to be done. So give me some advise of what you guys have done with your projects so I can learn from you past and present builds.

Thanks!
