Best I could come up with was kind of like a rollback... That is have the beaver tail hinge down..And the have a long straight arm with a roller on the end .. just extend horizontal . Kind of like telescoping the frame rail....this brings up another issue. The frame as it sits extends clear to the back of that bed.....I would have to cut it to hinge down a tail....unless it was really far back.

well it is for sure mine, oct 1. I have been working on the "spare parts" truck that comes with it. it is a single axle tilt hood 20' flat bed and it is 25,500 GVW I think it will be getting worked on first ;-)

making progress, got it stripped down, verified the lights are working and have just one minor brake issue to fix, then it is the big drive to its new temporary resting place.

Dang they did a lot of mods to this old truck, frame is doubled and fish plated in a crazy heavy manner.


used another detroit powered rig to remove the crane from this one.

well I made it.... she is parked at a buddies house after a trip through own and down the highway, Springtime will see some progress, right now it is just parked.
