Tinted Glass in Hard Top

Did any of the hard tops/hatches come with matching Soft Ray (tinted front glass option on the SPID) or did they all have clear glass?

I don't think I have ever seen an OEM tinted glass in a factory hard top.

Re: Tinted Glass in Hard Top

My experience has been that if factory AC was ordered, then the hard top and cab side glass came with tinted glass. Not sure if tinted glass could be ordered with a non AC truck, but likely so. My 2 cents.

I don't think you could get an AC truck without it.

Re: Tinted Glass in Hard Top

Clear and tinted were available for both single and double wall tops. Here's a parts catalog excerpt listing the various part numbers: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...0&postcount=11

Re: Tinted Glass in Hard Top

Hmm - very cool.

Can anybody share a pic of an OEM hard top with tinted glass?

Wondering if I need to swap my glass with tinted to match my fronts...
