80 c10 straight six to 454 swap
I was just wondering if anyone here has done this swap, and if i could get some good info on all the parts and stuff i need to do before i do the swap. i have the engine already i was wondering if the pulleys, motor mounts, and power steering pump from the straight six would bolt on to my 454 as well. so if anyone has any info or interesting things that i might run into on this swap just let me know!

Re: 80 c10 straight six to 454 swap
As far as I know, none of the I6 accessory brackets and pulleys will fit a big block. You will need all of that for a big block with a long water pump. Although the alternator and power steering pump itself will work. If you happen to have the 292 I6, you will have to get a different passenger side motor mount bracket. If you have the 250, the motor mounts you have will work just fine.
