I have three sons in their 20s. I drink whatever they don't like. Otherwise they're always at my house drinking my beer.

I have an age old ritual with beer...never change. One is my preference as my first beer, then I like to switch to More

I love the good craft beer, but not while working in the shop. It's just not safe.

Variety is the spice of life, rite?? And that is why every now and then I even homebrew my own.

I usually keep a couple of 12 packs in the old pop machine, but it'll hold 125 longnecks!

Whatever's around.............If I buy..I usually get Coors lite or Miller lite. I got the Ol spare tire to look after .
I had a Coors original in that neat little vintage bottle that's out right now. And it tasted really good.

Re: What kind of beer do you drink while working on your truck? Pix or it didn't happ

For working around the house, garage, truck I'm a bud light guy. Big into crafts and love IPAs but they are too heavy (and expensive) to drink while working on things. Crafts are more for relaxing. Bud Light gets things done!

Amen on cold and open! I'm pretty much IPA-only now except for those Budweiser Chelada's - wifey turned me on to those. I don't know who thought tomato juice in beer would work but they were on to something.

PBR is classic not cheap! And anything with clam or tomato is great breakfast food! Pretty sure it's on that food triangle thingy... somewhere

Re: What kind of beer do you drink while working on your truck? Pix or it didn't happ

They keep changing the label on the beers I drink, but if you look at the bottom of the label they still all say 12oz. I love the XX Lager Especiale and German brands such as Hacker-Pschorr and Spaten. They either stopped making Lowerbrau or stopped importing it. I read Labatts bought the brand from the company who owned the other two I just mentioned. I never ever drank light beer, except those handed to me. But when my girlfriend moved in I was getting her Miller 64. I decided to just buy her beer except for special times to save money. Might as well go for the super low cal if you aren't drinking the full-bodied beer. Helps keep the physique, cheaper than my imports...you get used to it.

I went to the local grocery and bought a jar of peanut butter, a couple loaves of bread and a 12-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon for $3.49. At the time, I wouldn't normally touch a PBR but considering my financial situation, beer was beer.

Well over the course of the next couple weeks, I developed a taste for Pabst and started buying it on a regular basis. I had to take a lot of grief from friends and family, but I liked it and the price was definitely right.

As I mentioned in a previous post having PBR in the fridge became handy as my boys grew into young men. Like me when I was that age, they wouldn't touch PBR, so if that's all I kept in the fridge I didn't have to worry about my beer disappearing when they came to visit.

I,m not ashamed to say i bought some lame excuses for beer in my younger years, budget dictating of course. Me and some buds bought up some cheap stuff once called Ballentine xxx. Awfull stuff but it was cheap ya hear me?
Today i prefer Bud light
