Maybe not disappeared but I paid by PayPal on 5/23 and no contact after initial pm exchange. He has not been back on the site either. Commented in thread, by pm and thru PayPal today. Whatcha think? I want the part more than a refund. Probably will just show up tomorrow. Who knows?

A couple few days. If I sold something I would be looking for communication from that person. PayPay is instant money to him, so the obligation is to get item to buyer ASAP. You don't sell something, then forget about it for a week. You should have heard something way before now.

Give it more time. People have jobs, get sick, and other things happen and the sale isn't a priority.

Posted at the top in a sticky are the buying and selling rules of the forum.

VII.Use a fair timeframe for receiving payment. Two weeks is the standard. If you choose to give less or more time state it clearly in the ad. If you have not received payment in a fair amount of time, move on to the next inline, or relist your item.

Well he paid right away and the problem was he never heard a word from the seller. I always let the sender know the payment was received and when the item is being shipped. It's communication and is the common decency way to carry out a transaction. It's the best way to know where things went wrong if there are problems in shipping. It is the way to have everything documented if there are any issues. No one is too busy to take a couple minutes to communicate. You don't leave people wondering.

Last communication from seller was 6/6 that he injured his foot and would send very soon. So it’s been maybe a month now? He said it took 10 days for PayPal to clear? Still nothing

Doesn’t something like this fall under mail fraud or wire fraud offense? Federal offense isn’t it? It’s over state lines.

Paypal refunded my $300. He refused to reply to them also. If I had done the "friends and family" thru paypal there would be no refund. Beware
