Re: Fireball Whiskey
I'd have one with you if we weren't so far apart. It's actually been quite a while (years) since I've taken a sip. Swore off hard liquor years ago, but a girlfriend liked to have a Bourbon & Coke from time to time and I'd accompany her on that. So now I keep a bottle of Jim Beam (her brand) for when a drink seams right, which fits my budget better. I live by simpler (cheaper) means these days, but I think I'm about due some Turkey

Re: Fireball Whiskey
The collapse is a tragedy! I haven't had Wild Turkey in years. I might have to try it, I don't remember if I like it or not.

Now, now, there's no need in crying over spilled whiskey. They'll make more.

Re: Fireball Whiskey
Hmm. My right pinky got sprained a few weeks ago, and pretty much still won't close right, at the moment. Maybe I'll buy a small bottle of 1792, pour some in a glass and leave my pinky extended while I drink it.

Re: Fireball Whiskey
That's gonna be some well-marinated fish.
Curs got in trouble when they dumped 2000 (or was it 5000 gallons?) of beer in a stream in Colorado. Dead fish downstream for quite a ways.

I don't think that Cinnamon will blend well on Whiskey. I haven't tried it and I won't give it a shot.

Re: Fireball Whiskey
I could never figure out how a large hindsight fine works to purify water or save the environment affected. The brewery did something wrong by allowing their building to deteriorate. Such a building carrying such a burden should have been getting regular inspections, required or voluntary. The thing done wrong here was allowed and now somehow putting money in EPA's pocket makes it better? When everything the distiller is doing now is the right thing. Fines are for those caught in the act/process to get them to stop/change. Never did get the fine after the fact. What does that do to make anything in that incident better? Only makes an already expensive undertaking harder to accomplish, and their hands are tied by the insurance provider who has the power to determine when work commences

Re: Fireball Whiskey
I gave up hard liquor a long time ago. I just didn't like that feeling waking up.
With a wedding ring on.

Re: Fireball Whiskey
You just have to make sure they are drinking as much as you are.
