Re: How About These?

Remember Pickups & Vans in Print magazine?Or was it Pickups Vans & 4wds?I think I remember PV4 as their logo.It had it all, including mini-trucks.That was before the big explosion into commercial vehicles. Now there`s umpteen different mags to cover it all...except vans?I think?Heck,we grew up and started hauling our kids in Leisure Vans. Not me,I got a Blazer. But,I wanted to do up a Van...`70s style,of course

Re: How About These?

My neighbor had a 70's van, with a mural of a virgin being sacrificed to an Aztec god painted on the side.

Another dude across town had a mural on his van with Princess Lea flanked by Han Solo and Luke Skywalker shirtless on either side of her ( I think he painted over Luke when Return of the Jedi came out )

Re: How About These?

Yeah Paul, lol. How about,"Don`t laugh, your daughter may be inside"?

I didn`t make the grade with the vanners.I had a `66 VW bus. But,in my mind it was a van.I called it my Baja Bus.It was more at home as a wilderness camper than it was a Blvd cruiser.yet,I took it crosscountry (yes, even down to La Paz),up and down both coasts, with alot of zig-zaggin` between. It was my surf, ski, kayak, rock climb, adventure machine.I believe there may have been some partying in there, too.I really don`t recall.

Re: How About These?

I remember one of the many custom vans in my neighborhood. It had zoomie pipes, and the spark plug thing for throwing flames. What good times. I like the vans with a motor as a center console. I'm kind of surprised there aren't vanners out there. I'd love to see a seventies shorty Chev layed out.
